Overview
The European Summer International Music Festival 2027 is a 12-night performance tour through Austria and Slovakia, combining participation in two prestigious international youth music festivals with rich cultural immersion.
Based in Salzburg, Vienna and Bratislava, the tour is designed for choirs, bands and orchestras seeking high-calibre European stage experiences alongside structured educational opportunities. With professional tour management throughout, the program offers a seamless blend of performance, workshops and sightseeing.
The musical centrepiece is participation in the Summa Cum Laude Festival in Vienna, including competition or celebration performances in renowned venues such as the Golden Hall of the Musikverein and the Wiener Konzerthaus, subject to selection. Students take part in workshops at the University of Music Vienna, attend the official Welcome Ceremony celebrating Beethoven’s legacy, and perform in multiple professionally organised concerts. The tour then continues to Slovakia for the Bratislava Youth Music Festival, featuring an Opening Concert, public performances and a final Diploma Ceremony.
Beyond the stage, the itinerary offers meaningful cultural exploration. Highlights include a guided walking tour of Salzburg with entry to Mozart’s Birthplace, exploration of Vienna’s historic Inner City and Ring Road, and entry to the interactive Haus der Musik. With festival camaraderie, international exchange and performances in some of Europe’s most iconic music cities, the tour delivers a memorable educational and artistic milestone for young musicians.
